New Article on Cyber Security Knowledge Frameworks Published

In light of the global shortage of skilled cyber security professionals, organisations have struggled to recruit personnel with the necessary cyber security knowledge. To address this challenge, a new study conducted by researchers at the University of Bristol examines four key cyber security knowledge frameworks: CyBOK, CSEC2017, NICE, and CST. While many initiatives are being undertaken to bridge the cyber security skills gap, a more targeted application of these frameworks is crucial. By tailoring framework selection to specific sectors, applications, or user needs, organisations can better prepare the future cyber security workforce.
